McCain has a BIG Hispanic Problem, Obama doing well!

Wed May 28, 2008 at 09:46:31 PM PDT

The media has been trying and make a story out of Obama’s low Hispanic vote turnout.  They assume that since he lost the vote in many states, that he will lose the vote in Nov.  I can not emphisis how stupid of an argument this is.  We’ve seen the argument made with "whites," until Obama won the demographic in Oregon, only after winning Iowa, Wisconsin, Utah, Washington... you get the idea.  Once again the media isn’t doing it’s job of conducting journalistic research.  Here’s what the real story is on Obama and the Hispanic vote.

McCain is recruiting and so am I, Hispanics for All Dems

Wed May 21, 2008 at 06:21:33 PM PDT

Need some help....
Yesterday a report hit the net that McCain was looking for bloggers to infiltrate sites across the net.   We’ll today I’m recruiting bloggers to post, or just cross-post on my site.  My site was built off of the Great Kos Daddy model and in now way am I trying to replace it.  The Daily Kos is the single most influential site out there and we should all keep the movement going, but I’m trying to target a demographic that has traditionally not come out to vote in large numbers and is only now finding a voice.

TN In Play? Yes I'm sober... UPDATED

Mon May 19, 2008 at 09:57:56 PM PDT

TN GOP is playing with fire.  Barack Obama stated today "Lay off my wife."  People in the MSM saw this as an empty passing warning, nothing more.  He said that the TN GOP "needs to think long and hard," about the tactics they are using.  The MSM didn’t sit and think about this at all, not surprising.... What exactly was Obama implying?  What was his threat?  Senator Bob Corker understands and is trying to make the TN GOP see what he sees.

Late today Senator Bob Corker released a statement warning his state party to back away from their latest attack on Michelle Obama.  If you haven’t seen the attack looky here.

NEW SNL SKIT: The Hillary Joke Continues, UPDATED w McCain

Sun May 18, 2008 at 09:04:26 AM PDT

In a funny call for unity SNL has jumped into the 2008 election again.  Last week they made headlines with the very funny (so long as you weren’t a Clinton supporter) piece about Clinton.  While this weeks is lighter, she still end up at the short end of the stick on this one.   Very funny and worth a few minutes of your time.

Background knowledge for this spot..... The NBA is currently running spots where top players from each playoff match-up are set in spit-screen reciting the same script.  The spots are mostly airing during NBA games so if you haven’t caught one, you might be in the dark on this.  The NBA spots are based on there can only be one champion in the end.

Clinton WILL exit by May 20th

Sun May 11, 2008 at 01:12:18 PM PDT

People have been saying she is in this until June 3rd or June 15th and that she is in the drivers seat.  As usual the lazy media has repeat the first opinion tossed out there without even thinking this thing through logically.  Everyone believes she can exit when ever she want and that it is a luxery.  WRONG, Hillary has a very small window of opportunity that is closing fast.  Follow the logic after the jump becasue it is Obama not Clinton who is driving the bus.

Obama Led in Pledge Delegates From Day 1 till the end!

Sat May 10, 2008 at 11:19:05 AM PDT

Okay, I know we are not done yet, but we are basically winding down as the last contest roll on out.  I was sitting on my comfy couch next to my beautiful wife discussing the race and I started reflecting back over the last couple of months.  It’s been a lot of ups and downs, some stressful days and some jubilant days mixed in.  Then it hit me.  Senator Barack Obama has never lost the lead in the pledge delegate race, never, he’s held it since day one.  Let’s take a quick trip in the way back machine and look at how things shaped up...

We / Donors will not Pay for Clinton Debt, UPDATE

Wed May 07, 2008 at 08:23:02 PM PDT

Everyone Calm Down.  Much is being said because a someone suggested that Obama paying off Hillary’s debt would be one way to negotiate a way out of the primary race.  Don’t believe this that this is an open wallet.  Don’t let this stop you from donating to Obama.

here is the quote in question over at the Huffington Post

She has ruled it out, but a prompt withdrawal from the contest for the Democratic nomination offers Sen. Hillary Clinton the prospect of major rewards.

One of the most inviting is the near certainty that the Obama campaign would agree to pay back the $11.4 million she has loaned her own bid, along with an estimated $10 million to $15 million in unpaid campaign expenses

1.5 million Donors: Almost there!

Mon May 05, 2008 at 12:46:41 PM PDT

It’s time to set another milestone in this monumental campaign.  Barack Obama is about to reach his goal of 1.5 million unique donors for the campaign.  It is time to step-up and push this thing over the top.  I am proud to be one of those 1.5 myself.  I donated to my first campaign ever last month so that I could be counted on Obama’s April totals.

NFL DRAFT TALK, Who's On The Clock, A Break From Politics,

Sat Apr 26, 2008 at 10:43:31 AM PDT

Thought it would be fun to take a break from politics and cover the other big event this week.  Yes, I'm talking about football.  I'm a huge fan, huge  fantasy football player.  It's 30 minutes till the 2008 Football season begins and things are starting to shape up and people are moving.

No Longer Being Updated.  The top 10 are complete and the diary has moved far enough down that few are viewing.  Thanks to all that contributed to the dissucssion.

CLINTON only raises $8 million for primary in March, Ends IN THE RED!

Sun Apr 20, 2008 at 08:59:26 PM PDT

The Raw Story has an AP article that says Clinton will file before midnight. Update, midnight has come and gone and the web-site still hasn't been updated, but here's some info from camp Clinton.

The Clinton aide said she raised 20 million in March and only had 8 million from March primaries.  This confirms what we all thought of limited resources.  This alone is a bad sign for her campaign and argument for Super Delegates.  Which ones would want to turn away a fund raising machine like Obamas?  It is the thing Democrats have dreamed about for years.

Thu Apr 17, 2008 at 06:54:09 PM PDT

Yes after "Wright", after "Bitter", after ABC’s "Crappy Debate" and after the year long mind-numbing politics, I have been able to hold those Republicans I helped bring into Obama's camp, five total.

Breaking: Clinton, China linked via foundation & Gallup Poll

Sun Apr 13, 2008 at 10:02:15 AM PDT

First off lets look at the new Gallup Poll.  This is a daily tracking poll that covered the Friday and Saturday Media Bitter STORY CREATION, in a poor attempt to make news for themselves.  Pathetic!!!! Oh, and the poll results arrrrrrre...........

BASICALLY UNCHANGED! Top Story from Gallup Here
Obama, 50
Clinton 41

This surprised me for one reason only, Usually Obamas numbers dip on the weekends because as many have speculated, His voting base is out on the town on Friday's and Saturdays.  This proves people are bitter and fed up with not only Washington, but with the Media

A Fun Diary for Those With a Little TIME.

Thu Apr 10, 2008 at 09:25:54 PM PDT

Time.com Most Influential People people, Spears, Hilton??? Lets take back our nation!  Time.com is running their top 100 again and it's disturbing at who some of their most "Influential" people are.  Currently the top spot is held by a singer from Korea, that goes by "Rain," Colbert is in the number two spot and is making a play via his show to overtake Rain.

More Proof Hispanics will follow Obama in November

Wed Apr 09, 2008 at 08:06:00 PM PDT

I posted a diary late last night that dealt with how Hispanics / Latinos would be loyal to either Democratic candidate that takes the tops spot come November.  With Obama ahead in every category and one step away from locking up the nomination (in the medias mind, mathematically he’s already locked it up)  much as been discussed if he could carry some of Hillary’s support in November.
